Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dermatology Nurse to join our specialist team, focusing on Phototherapy and Cryotherapy treatments. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic dermatology setting, supporting patients with a wide range of skin conditions and delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor Phototherapy treatments (e.g., PUVA, UVB).
- Perform Cryotherapy procedures for various dermatological conditions.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, skin care, and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with dermatologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in audits, training, and continuous professional development.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (NMC registration required).
- Experience in dermatology or outpatient clinical settings preferred.
- Training or certification in Phototherapy and Cryotherapy is desirable (training can be provided).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: £23.47-£27.50 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
