We are currently looking for a compassionate and reliable Female Care Assistant to join our team, providing waking night support to clients living in their own homes in the Cheadle (ST10) area.
Job Purpose
As a Waking Nights Care Assistant with Aceso Homecare, you will make a real difference every day, supporting people to live well, stay independent, and feel safe in the comfort of their own home.
We are seeking individuals who are kind and have a genuine desire to help and care.
You don’t need previous care experience as successful applicants will be provided with a comprehensive training programme and ongoing support from our management and leadership team.
The Role
The successful applicant will promote the highest standards of care and service with a focus on person centred care as detailed below;
- Support with personal care tasks such as bathing, getting dressed, and using the bathroom.
- Assist with mobility needs, ensuring that clients feel safe and confident.
- Perform household tasks such as light cleaning and tidying.
- Ensure that prescribed medications are offered and taken in accordance with the individual care plan and recorded appropriately.
- Positively engage with Clients, encouraging active conversations that help clients feel valued and cared for.
- Ensure open and transparent communication with clients and family members, ensuring that our services are of the highest quality and meet the expectations of Clients and loved ones.
- Maintain accurate daily notes, via our electronic systems and communicate regularly with the office.
Essential Criteria
- You must be reliable and punctual and understand that you are apart of a team working together.
- Must have a caring, friendly and compassionate personality.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be responsive, adaptable and remain calm
- Must have a full driving license and access to a car.
- Calm, patient, and able to work independently during overnight shifts.

Shift Patterns
- Waking Night Shift: 8:00pm – 7:00am
- Opportunities for both full-time and part-time hours.
- Flexibility to work alternate weekends.
