As a Customer Service Controller, you will be the day‑to‑day contact for our customers, ensuring they receive timely updates, accurate information, and a consistently high standard of service. You’ll coordinate customer requirements with operational teams, resolve queries efficiently, and support the delivery of agreed service levels. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships and contributing to overall service performance.
Main purpose of the role:
- Managing customer enquiries via telephone and email, ensuring professional and timely responses.
- Coordinating customer requirements with internal teams to support smooth operational delivery.
- Providing regular updates on service status, schedules, and performance.
- Producing customer reports and maintaining accurate records and information.
- Supporting continuous improvement by identifying service trends and sharing customer feedback.
- Promoting a positive customer experience and helping strengthen long‑term relationships.
The Person:
- Previous experience in customer service, coordination, or a similar role (essential).
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
- A proactive, customer‑focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience within automotive, logistics, transport, fleet, or service industries would be advantageous.
- Full UK Driving Licence (Due to the site remoteness and no public transport available)
