We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Communications Executive to take ownership of our integrated marketing communication and PR campaigns. This is a hands-on, all-rounder role suited to someone who enjoys managing multiple channels, shaping brand messaging and delivering impactful campaigns aligned to the strategic goals and priorities of the Polyroof brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Management
- Plan, execute, and evaluate Integrated marketing campaigns from concept to completion aligned to strategic priorities – on time and to budget
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective campaign management
- Monitor campaign performance to measure ROI for desired outcomes, adjust accordingly providing insights for optimisation
Communications and PR
- Ensure integrated communications and PR campaigns align to strategic priorities and enhance brand awareness
- Build and maintain relationships with specification and contractor focussed trade publications, media outlets, and industry partners to increase Polyroof’s share of voice
- Draft, collaborate and distribute press releases, thought leadership pieces to elevate perceptions amongst target audiences
- Manage media coverage, UTM tracking and reporting on ROI from activities
Content & Digital Marketing
- Create a demand generation strategy to support commercial goals and strategic plans
- Create engaging content across Polyroof’s website, social media accounts, email and marketing collateral aimed at specification and contractor audiences
- Manage and update website content using WordPress
- Ensure brand messaging and tone of voice is consistent across all channels aligned with strategic goals
Social Media & Online Presence
- Create and own Polyroof’s social media strategy aligned to the strategic plan
- Manage Polyroof’s social media accounts, including content scheduling and increasing engagement from specifiers and contractors
- Identify opportunities to grow audiences reach and engagement
- Monitor trends in the construction industry and recommend new approaches to digital communication
Reporting and Analysis
- Track campaign performance using analytics tools
- Report metrics against KPIs, providing actionable insights
- Support data driven decision making and demand generation activities
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in B2B marketing, communications, or PR role
- Degree qualification
- CIM (or working towards)
- Commercial awareness
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience managing PR activities
- Hands on experience with WordPress CMS
- Understanding of SEO principles and digital content best practice
- Experience with social media management tools
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Desirable:
- Experience in Construction marketing to specifiers and contractors
- Understanding of content strategies, including zero-click and in-platform engagement techniques
- Managing media relationships
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva or similar)
- Knowledge of email marketing platforms
- Experience with paid media campaigns

The Package:
As the Marketing Communications Executive - Polyroof, you will be working within a business where open communication and strong teamwork is at the heart. You will benefit from:
· A salary in the region of £30,000 to £35,000, with the starting level dependent on experience.
· 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays which will increase after 2 years’ service by one day per year, up to a maximum of 27 days plus bank holidays.
· Permanent contract, working Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 5pm, and Friday, 8:30am to 3pm, with flexibility available around your start and finish times.
