Nurture Support Assistant – Specialist SEMH School

Pink Tile Education is seeking a compassionate and proactive Nurture Support Assistant to join a specialist SEMH school in Esher from September.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, helping them to develop confidence, resilience, and positive relationships while accessing education in a supportive and structured environment.
- Providing 1:1 and small group support throughout the school day
- Supporting pupils with their emotional wellbeing and engagement in learning
- Promoting positive behaviour and effective coping strategies
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and social development
- Working closely with teachers and pastoral teams to implement individual support strategies
- Helping to maintain a calm, nurturing, and safe learning environment
- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs in education, care, youth work, or support settings
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with SEMH needs
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, if required for travel to the school location
Previous SEMH experience is beneficial but not essential for candidates with transferable skills and the right attitude. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
