Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or damage observed during cleaning duties.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure thorough cleaning of all designated areas.
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards punctuality and attendance.
