Humpty Dumpty Day Nurseries Ltd is a well-established provider of early childhood education and childcare. Our mission is to create a happy, relaxed environment where children can feel at home, grow, and develop through tailored activities and outdoor experiences. We are committed to high standards of care, nurturing each child's individual needs in a safe and engaging setting.
Due to expansion we are looking to employ new members to our Badgers Out of School Care team at Thomas Russell Infants School in Barton under Needwood.
We expect successful candidates to be able to;
- Communicate and interact frequently, affectionately and respectfully.
- Compliance with all National Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop and learn.
- To build and maintain strong partnership working with parents to enable children’s needs to be met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assist the Team Leader in maintaining a safe, happy and hygienic environment treating the children with respect and care.
- To help with the planning and supervision of activities and follow the daily routine.
- To help fulfil the needs of the children physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially.
- To be observant at all times regarding the health and safety of the children.
- To be a good role model for all the children by setting a good example in behaviour, manners and speech.
- To help teach and ensure that the fundamental British values are met and encouraged.
- To be approachable to all the children, staff and families and treat everyone with respect.
- To treat all staff, children and parents with due respect without discrimination with regard to religion, race, colour and gender.
- To treat all children on an equal level without showing individual favouritism.
- To attend staff meetings and training sessions as and when organised.
- To hold a current First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding certificate and attend training to preserve validity.
Hours of work - 7.50am - 9.00am/ 3.00pm - 6.00pm Monday - Friday Term time only (39 weeks of the year)
Additional work may be available during the day and during school holidays.

Pay: £9,796.00-£11,943.00 per year
