Job Title: Supervising Social Worker
Location: Luton/Milton Keynes/Northampton
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum + benefits
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supervising Social Worker to join the team at Sunbeam Pride Fostering. We are looking for a passionate Social Worker to join our team in Luton. You’ll share our commitment to provide a high-quality service to achieve positive outcomes for our children/young people.
What the role includes:
- To ensure that children’s care plans & agreements between foster carers, other agencies & Sunbeam appertaining to a placement are complete and adhered to
- Attending fostering panels to present assessment & review reports on behalf of the agency
- To undertake the statutory role of a Supervising Social Worker – including to recruit, assess, train, supervise & support post-placement a number of Sunbeam Foster Carers in line with agency policy & procedures
- To ensure a clear & consistent focus on safeguarding of children & young people

Requirements
- Social Work England Registration
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
