Full job description
Maintenance Man required to work within a busy large property management company based in Sheffield but covering other parts of South Yorkshire.
The role will involve all aspects of a wide variety of semi-skilled DIY and maintenance jobs in residential properties, both tenanted and home owners.
Duties such as: -
- Light plumbing, basic joinery and electrical work
- Minor DIY repairs
- External / garden repairs i.e fence building, tree cutting, grass cutting etc
- Rubbish and furniture removal via skips or recycling plants
- End of tenancy cleans
- Cleaning including carpet cleaning, oven cleaning etc
- Carpet replacement / fitting
- Painting and decorating of walls and woodwork
- Other skills such as tiling and plastering would be advantageous but not essential.
The successful candidate will need;-
- Own reliable transport with business travel insurance
- Basic set of DIY tools
- Be flexible with working hours including some evenings and weekends
- Have basic computer skills
- Be professional, polite, clean and tidy.
This is a full time permanent role with potential for overtime and performance bonuses. The successful candidate must be flexible as the hours will vary.
