About Us
DrainFix Services Limited is a leading drainage contractor specialising in CCTV drainage surveys, drainage repairs, high-pressure water jetting, and reactive drainage services. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced CCTV Drainage Operative to join our expanding team.
The Role
This is a varied role combining CCTV drainage surveying with reactive drainage clearance works. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out detailed CCTV surveys, diagnosing drainage defects, clearing blockages, and providing professional recommendations to our domestic, commercial, and local authority clients.
The role also includes participation in our out-of-hours emergency call-out rota, providing emergency drainage response outside normal working hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out CCTV drainage surveys on foul and surface water drainage systems.
- Produce accurate survey reports and defect observations.
- Diagnose drainage defects and recommend appropriate remedial works.
- Carry out reactive drainage blockage clearance using high-pressure water jetting and mechanical cleaning equipment.
- Undertake drain tracing, dye testing, and drainage investigations.
- Operate CCTV survey equipment safely and professionally.
- Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain company vehicles, CCTV equipment, and drainage machinery.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing DrainFix Services Limited.
- Participate in the company's out-of-hours emergency call-out rota.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience carrying out CCTV drainage surveys.
- Proven experience in reactive drainage blockage clearance.
- Good understanding of drainage systems and fault diagnosis.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.
Desirable Skills
- Experience using iTouch CCTV survey systems (preferred but not essential).
- High Pressure Water Jetting experience.
- Mechanical root cutting and descaling experience.
- NADC accreditation (desirable but not essential).
- CSCS Card. (desirable but not essential)
