Position Overview
As a food and beverage supervisor you should be enthusiastic, reliable and driven to provide the best customer focus and support to the team. You will be expected to make decisions that can impact the service to increase our revenue and customer focus throughout the hotel. You will be confident in your ability to lead the team through busy periods and offer training with the guidance of senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
- Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
- Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
- Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with legal and company regulations
- Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
- Receives dates and examines food and supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet established standards and specifications.
- Ensures tips are reported properly for tax processing.
- Show leadership and give support to your fellow team members
- Begin to understand the importance of recording all sales correctly in order for our revenue streams to show accurately.
- Work on developing your skills with the management in order to increase your knowledge on service and Whim standards across the hotel
- Open and Close shifts and complete cash up whenever leading a shift.
- Take pride in your role and stick to the core Whim values.
- Perform other jobs or responsibilities in line with the role.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a similar role in a high quality hotel.
- Use your own initiative to solve problems and help others.
- Able to understand duties communicated via senior team members
- You must be flexible as shift times may vary according to business needs and development.
- Must be flexible with changes in the workplace as the business grows.
- Be friendly and professional around all the hotel and interact with guests in a warm and courteous manner.
- Take pride in your work and follow the whim hospitality ways.
- Always turn up to work ready and on time with correct uniform.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00 per year
