Parts and Returns Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 7:30am – 3:30pm, with Sundays worked on a rota basis
About Us
We are one of the UK's leading suppliers of flat-pack furniture and household products. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and organised individual to join our Parts and Returns Department.
The Role
This is a varied and hands-on role supporting both our Returns and Parts functions. You will be responsible for processing returns, supplying replacement parts, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with product quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess returned goods and determine whether items can be resold, salvaged, or disposed of.
- Process customer refunds and maintain accurate records.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch replacement parts accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain stock organisation and inventory accuracy.
- Assist with quality checks on products and incoming stock.
- Provide feedback on new product samples, packaging, assembly, and product quality.
- Identify recurring faults and support improvements to reduce returns and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

- Previous experience in returns, warehouse, stock control, parts fulfilment, or quality control would be beneficial but is not essential.
