To meet the demand of our increased sales, we are looking for an Office & Picking/Packing Assistant to join our small and friendly team.
This is a varied role, with the majority of your working day spent accurately picking and packing stock for Amazon. Alongside this, you will support the day-to-day running of our office by carrying out a range of administrative and customer service tasks. We're looking for someone who is happy to work in both packing and office environments and understands that this is primarily a hands on picking and packing role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and packing stock for Amazon, unloading deliveries, organising stock, and carrying out general office duties such as processing orders, responding to customer enquiries and taking orders over the phone.
You must be able to work efficiently as part of a small team, have excellent attention to detail, be organised, and be confident using a computer and telephone.
We are looking for somebody who would like to work full-time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
What you'll be doing
- Picking and packing stock for Amazon (this will make up the majority of your day).
- Unloading deliveries.
- Moving and organising stock.
- Processing customer orders and updating order information.
- Responding to customer enquiries via email and telephone.
- Assisting with stock control and inventory updates.
- Carrying out general administrative and office tasks.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Supporting other members of the team as required.
Starting pay: £12.71 per hour, with an initial 12-month contract.
We are based between Helston and Redruth. Due to our location, your own transport is essential.
