We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pub Chef to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of pub-style dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations during service
- Manage food production processes, ensuring timely delivery of orders to meet customer expectations
- Oversee food safety practices, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and manage inventory efficiently to minimise waste
- Lead by example in maintaining a positive team environment, fostering teamwork and professionalism
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Supervising experience is highly desirable, demonstrating leadership skills and team management capabilities
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a commercial kitchen
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods
- Good understanding of pub cuisine as well as general culinary techniques
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene
- A passion for food, creativity in menu development, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
