Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. This isn’t just your normal driver role so please read the whole advert before applying.
You would be part of a small, close knit team working for a well established event hire company. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, delivering and collecting our event hire equipment to our prestigious clients.
This role requires a strong understanding of loading and securing equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries and the ability to provide excellent customer service. The events industry is fast paced and ever changing, we need a driver that is calm under pressure, happy to work as part of a team; but also use their own initiative.
Duties include but aren’t limited to:
- Loading, unloading and collecting event hire equipment in a timely manner
- Counting and recording losses or damages to hire items on their return
- Preparing/cleaning event hire equipment prior to hire
- There is a level of fitness required due to the nature of the role
- Safely operate company vehicles adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Excellent driving skills with a valid driving licence. Due to Insurance candidates must be 25 or over
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high levels of responsibility and professionalism
We provide hire equipment for events throughout the year, our established clients base are used to a certain level of service and professionalism. Training will be provided but we will need a candidate who learns quickly due to being in the summer season.
Hours and pay:
Average of 40 hours a week.
Summer (peak season) - 6 days a week
Winter - 4 days a week
Some late evening work is required and overtime is paid accordingly

We are looking for an immediate start.
Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
