We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Provide personalised care and support to clients in accordance with their care plans
- Assist with daily living activities such as washing, dressing, and mobility support
- Support clients with medication reminders and basic health monitoring
- Help organise social activities and encourage independence where possible
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safety at all times
- Ensure the safety and comfort of clients by adhering to health and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving client transportation
- Good command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication
- Strong IT skills for maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
- Excellent communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts and client needs
