Meltech Ltd is a specialist induction company based in Haverhill. We build and install induction melting equipment and systems for customers in the UK and around the world. The company is now in its 27th year and continues to bring new technology and designs to the industry. We are now recruiting a mechanical/electrical engineer to work both in house and on site when required. The successful candidate will work along side existing engineers covering a wide range of disciplines. Typical work would include mechanical assembly, fabricating bespoke items from various composite materials. Wiring of electrical control panels, inverter panels, rectifier panels and various pumps and motors. Pipework and plumbing in both copper, stainless steel and ABS. Brazing and soldering on both copper manifolds and copper bus bar assemblies. Hydraulic and pneumatic build and assembly on various types of furnaces. Site work would include full installation of water cooling systems in either ABS, stainless steel or copper. Installation of hydraulic or pneumatic systems. Wiring of control circuits to pump control panels and cooler fans. The position would suit an experienced multi-skilled engineer who can adapt and learn new skills as they progress within the company.
