Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team with enthusiasm and precision. This pivotal role involves overseeing all cleaning operations within our facility, ensuring a spotless, safe, and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and clients alike. As the Head Housekeeper, you will champion high standards of cleanliness, manage daily tasks efficiently, and foster a motivated team dedicated to excellence. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across all areas of the facility, including guest rooms, public spaces, offices, and specialized areas such as hospital zones.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that meet health and safety standards while optimizing operational efficiency.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met or exceeded.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Enforce health regulations and safety procedures related to commercial cleaning, janitorial practices, and hospital sanitation requirements.
- Collaborate with management to address guest or staff concerns promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong background in managing cleaning teams.
- Prior experience working within hospital environments or healthcare facilities is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff effectively.
- Knowledge of industry-standard cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety procedures.
- Familiarity with hospital sanitation protocols and compliance standards is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
