The role is 25 hours per week working on a rota pattern of three days in Week 1 (Sat, Sun, Weds) and two days in week two (Sat & Sun).
As a Domestic Assistant at Gibraltar Nursing Home, you won’t need to have experience in a previous role like this or have experience in a care home. What you will need is a positive can-do attitude, take pride in everything you do, have a naturally caring nature, and want to work with a team that has an ethos of a “one team approach”.

Cleanliness and hygiene are always paramount, in any home, and along with you keeping our home clean, tidy, hygienic and safe, we have other measures during these incredibly difficult times of keeping you and our family members safe:
Just some of these are:
· Hand washing facilities at the front door
· Glow UVC machines to capture any of those areas we may have missed
· Antibacterial floor mats for our shoes
· All post and deliveries are quarantined for 72 hours.
· Masks & PPE delivered every 4 weeks to the home from our Central Warehouse
· The home is split into separate smaller houses and you’ll never cross into another house
· A fun Facebook Live every week from our Clinical Director with updates & reassurance of everything we are doing to keep you and our family members safe
- A 24/7 specialist welfare help line for guidance, support, health questions or simply to talk to someone about any worries you may have during this incredibly difficult and worrying time.
