Our parks feature holiday lodges, static caravans, touring pitches, glamping facilities and extensive communal outdoor amenity areas.
As a multi-site business spanning holiday home sales, lettings, retail and park operations, our commercial picture is genuinely varied and the decisions we make carry real financial consequence. This role sits at the point where finance meets operations, giving the business the clarity it needs to grow well.
THE ROLE
The Finance Business Partner will provide high-quality financial insight, analysis and commercial support to senior stakeholders and operational teams. The role will act as a trusted partner to the business, helping leaders understand financial performance, identify opportunities, manage risks and make informed decisions.
The overall objective is to be a trusted financial partner to the business, providing accurate information, meaningful insight and constructive challenge that improves financial performance and supports sustainable business growth.
You will work with the Senior Leadership Team, department heads, budget holders, and colleagues across Operations, Commercial, HR and the wider Finance team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business partnering
- Partner with senior managers and operational leaders to understand business performance and financial priorities.
- Challenge assumptions and provide constructive financial challenge to budget holders.
- Work closely with operational teams to improve financial awareness and accountability.
- Explain financial results clearly, identifying the key drivers behind performance.
Reporting and analysis
- Prepare monthly management accounts, performance reports and variance analysis.
- Provide insightful analysis of revenue, costs, margins, profitability and key performance indicators.
- Ensure financial information is accurate, timely and presented in a clear and commercially relevant manner.
- Support month-end and year-end processes, working closely with the wider Finance team.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and insight as required by senior management.
Budgeting and forecasting
- Lead and support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Monitor budgets and expenditure, identifying risks, trends and opportunities.
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Commercial support
- Support business cases, investment decisions and commercial proposals with robust financial analysis.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements and revenue growth.
Continuous improvement
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting and systems.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential
- Part qualified accountant (for example CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or significant relevant finance experience.
- Strong experience in management accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Proven experience of working as a Finance Business Partner or in a commercially focused finance role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Willingness to get involved in all areas of finance
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to challenge constructively and influence decision-making.
- Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of business drivers.
Desirable
- Experience working with senior leadership teams.
- Experience in a multi-site, operational or commercially driven organisation.
- Experience with ERP, finance and business intelligence systems.
- Experience of process improvement and financial transformation.
- Power BI or similar data visualisation and reporting experience.

- Basic salary of up to £35,000, dependent on experience and level of qualification.
