Part-Time Commis Chef/Kitchen Assistant
We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time team member to join our friendly kitchen team.
This role would be ideal with someone with Kitchen Hand experience who is keen to gain some cheffing experience. If you love working in a fast paced environment and want the balance of working day times only this would be the role for you! The right candidate will be keen to get stuck in supporting the chef with preparation of basic brunch dishes and sandwich prep, while also assisting with dishes and food running. Hours are flexible but will include weekends, with the option to pick upadditional shifts to help cover staff holidays and busy periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with food preparation .
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with food safety regulations.
- Dishwashing and general cleaning
- Food running
- Working efficiently as part of a small, supportive team.
What We're Looking For
- Basic kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred, but full training will be provided.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Someone who is dependable, hardworking, and able to work well under pressure.
- Flexibility to work weekends and provide additional cover during staff holidays.
- A genuine interest in food and delivering great customer experiences.
