Are you a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant looking to make a real difference in a young person's life?
We are looking for experienced HCAs to join our dedicated complex care team, working alongside a Registered Nurse to support a 16-year-old boy with complex healthcare needs in his own home and within the community.
This is a rewarding opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with one client while being part of a supportive and experienced clinical team.
About the Role
You will work alongside a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, person-centred care, supporting the client with daily activities while promoting his independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Duties may include:
- Assisting with all aspects of personal care.
- Supporting mobility and daily living activities.
- Working alongside the nurse to deliver complex clinical care.
- Assisting with feeding and hydration where required.
- Providing companionship and engaging in age-appropriate activities.
- Supporting community outings and appointments.
- Accurately documenting care provided and reporting any concerns.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and positive environment.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6 months' experience as a Healthcare Assistant (complex care experience desirable).
- A caring, patient, and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Reliable and committed to providing outstanding care.
- Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
