Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial work and possess a keen eye for detail. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other communal areas to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures as required
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order and report any repairs needed
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as necessary
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
