Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Factory Operative to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Dunblane. In this role, you will work in our foam department which is instrumental in supporting the production process of our Office Furniture and Screen products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to learn/develop a unique skillset in commercial furniture, with scope to learn other disciplines in the factory to further your skills and career.
Responsibilities
- Work within a factory team in the production of office furniture and screens.
- Cut foam, use power tools, operate machinery, and use equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures
- Use spray, silicone, and glue to adhere foam to furniture & screens, preparing the items for upholstery.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and improve operational workflows
- Assisting with assembling, quality checking of finished products, packing items for delivery, working with a variety of materials. Following clear guidelines and instructions.
Experience Required
- Hands on experience essential, with experience of using power tools and cutting blades.
- Experience in a manufacturing / production role is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided to a keen applicant.
- Must be physically fit as the role involves lifting furniture/screens onto work benches.
Pay: £14.00 per hour
