This post presents an exciting opportunity to support the continuous of the Youth Hub Initiative based in Doncaster as part of the Advance Employment Hub. In partnership with DWP, the Youth Hub Initiative is an employment service which aims to engage unemployed young people aged 16 -24, providing person centred employer linked support, inspirational advice and guidance, which will enable a positive transition into sustained employment, resulting in social and economic mobility for people who are the future of our city and economy.
The successful candidate will support the continued development of the initiative, providing effective end-to-end employment support through the direct delivery of professional Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to groups and individuals, as well as providing appropriate interventions in supporting people with the transition into employment.
We are looking for someone who has experience of managing a busy caseload, providing careers information, advice and guidance (IAG) and supporting people into work, including working with employers and other organisations to enable progression and positive outcomes for individuals along with identification of new opportunities and employer recruitment and skills needs. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate and maintain effective communication and mutually supportive relationships with all delivery partners.
This role will report to the Employment Manager overseeing the Youth Hub contract, and the 18 hours will be worked across 3 days on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of each week, working as part of a small team to ensure the Youth Hub service remains fully monitored across the working week.
