We are looking for a talented person to step into a Materials Control Supervisor role at our head office site in Lenton, Nottingham. Reporting to the Materials Control Shift Manager, this vital role focuses on the effective supervision of Material Control operations to ensure all manufacturing areas receive the right incoming and outgoing material flow support so that all production plans and demand can be delivered on time in full.
The Materials Control Supervisor will oversee and optimise all areas of our materials control operations, ensuring efficient workflow, accuracy in processing and stock management, alongside total adherence to health and safety. You will be responsible for directing and motivating a team of colleagues, maintaining high standards to meet customer needs and effectively ensuring that service is never compromised. You will promote effective performance by supervision & reviews with your team, assigning objectives and providing regular, constructive feedback.
Working closely with the other Materials Control shift supervisors you will identify opportunities to optimise material flow operations as well as deliver efficiency improvements.
