Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled CPCS 360 Driver to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a CPCS 360 Driver, you will operate heavy machinery, specifically the 360-degree excavator, to support construction and excavation projects. Your mechanical knowledge and expertise in commercial driving will be essential in ensuring safe, efficient, and precise operation of equipment on-site. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while maintaining high safety standards and operational excellence.
Duties
- Operate the CPCS-certified 360-degree excavator safely and efficiently across various construction sites.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal functioning.
- Assist with site preparation, material handling, and excavation tasks as directed by project supervisors.
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- Coordinate with team members to execute tasks smoothly, maintaining clear communication throughout operations.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and any incidents or issues encountered during shifts.
- Support other construction activities requiring mechanical knowledge or the use of heavy machinery when needed.
Qualifications
- Valid CPCS certification for 360 excavator operation with relevant experience in construction environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to identify basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly operating heavy machinery on construction sites.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety and focus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to heavy machinery operation is highly desirable.
