Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Production Line Worker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production process, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and assisting with the efficient operation of the production line. Responsibilities
- Operate various machinery and equipment on the production line, adhering to safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and assembly of food products, ensuring compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
- Monitor production processes, making minor adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality and efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify potential mechanical issues and report any faults promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including sanitising equipment and adhering to hygiene regulations.
- Perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements, quantities, and quality checks during production.
- Support team members in troubleshooting mechanical or operational problems to minimise downtime.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food ingredients and machinery.
Experience
- Previous experience in food production or manufacturing environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety practices is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery operation is a plus.
- Basic math skills are required for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy production setting.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving processes within the manufacturing environment.
