Role: Baker - Part Time
Hours: 20-30hrs per week including weekends
Pay: £8 - £12.71 per hours
Location: Southsea, Hampshire
Opening hours: 8am – 5pm
We are a very busy family run tearooms, serving 700+ covers through breakfast and lunchtime service. The Baker will:
- Work alongside one other Senior Baker on each shift to bake & decorate cakes, traybakes and scones according to a recipe.
- Take delivery of food from suppliers and build a good rapport with those suppliers.
- Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
There is no let-up in this kitchen, the buzz & adrenalin is constant and the successful candidate will thrive under this pressure. Speed and accuracy is key.
For this role, we are looking for someone with at least two years' baking experience, either in a commercial kitchen or through home baking.
