We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have everything they need for an enjoyable dining experience.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards.
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen tasks when necessary to support the team.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Skills
- Strong understanding of guest services with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Time management skills to efficiently juggle multiple tasks during peak hours.
- Experience in culinary or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
