Role location: Hybrid working (on average 2 days working out of our Mansfield office)
Are you an experienced information security professional looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference?
As a Senior Information Security Analyst, you will play a key role in protecting the systems, services and information that people rely on every day. Working across the organisation, you will help identify and manage security risks, support incident response activities and provide expert advice to colleagues and stakeholders.
This is a varied and rewarding opportunity to influence decision-making, strengthen cyber resilience and help build a secure digital environment while contributing to the ongoing development of information security across the organisation.
In this role you will:

Lead vulnerability management activities and work with technical teams to reduce security risks.

Manage and support security incidents, investigations and lessons learned activity.

Conduct security risk assessments and advise on appropriate controls for systems, services, projects and suppliers.

Support governance, compliance and assurance processes through reporting, monitoring and improvement planning.

Act as a trusted advisor, helping colleagues understand security risks and make informed decisions.

Maintain oversight of security actions, controls and improvement initiatives to strengthen the organisation's security posture.

Contribute to the development of security policies, standards and guidance.
Essential criteria:
-
Experience identifying, assessing and managing cyber and information security risks.
-
Ability to translate complex technical issues into practical, proportionate advice for a range of audiences.

Experience in one or more of the following areas: vulnerability management, incident response, security assurance, risk assessment or supplier assurance.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build positive working relationships and influence decision-making.
-
Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
-
A pragmatic approach to information security, balancing risk, business needs and user experience.
