We are currently recruiting for experienced Supervisors to join a growing, high-end painting and decorating business working across premium residential and commercial projects throughout London and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on whilst also taking responsibility for a team, delivering exceptional standards of workmanship and providing a professional service to clients.
The Role:
Working as part of a small team, you'll lead by example while supervising up to five decorators on high-spec projects.
You'll be responsible for ensuring projects run smoothly, work is completed to an exceptional standard and clients receive a professional and reliable service throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside a team of decorators on high-end projects
- Supervise daily site activities and allocate work effectively
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to a high standard
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, colleagues and suppliers
- Communicate professionally and confidently with clients
- Coordinate schedules and support the development of team members
- Identify and resolve issues on site proactively
- Maintain a clean, safe and respectful working environment
- Ensure high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Promote sustainable and environmentally conscious decorating practices
About You:
We're looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator who takes genuine pride in their work and has an excellent eye for detail.
You'll ideally have previous supervisory or team leadership experience and be confident taking responsibility for a project and the people working on it.
You'll also need:
- Proven experience as a professional Painter & Decorator
- Experience within high-end residential and/or commercial environments
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, professional and personable approach
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and take initiative
- A commitment to quality and delivering exceptional finishes
- Valid CSCS and SMSTS
- Ability to complete a DBS check

- £45,000 - £49,000 per annum, depending on experience
