You are the first human a London landlord speaks to. We generate the demand — paid inbound, portal activity, lead ads pre-qualified by our own AI agent, cold email, leaflets, referrals — and you turn it into signed instructions.
You work the phone, not the road. Valuations, viewings, photography and key handovers sit with operations, so your day is conversations, offers and closes. Landlords rarely arrive asking for a named product; they arrive with a problem — an agent they've had enough of, a property they can't get to, a tenancy they don't want to run. Your first job is to work out which of our services solves it, and say so.
This is a two-level hire. At BDC you work the company lead feeds: qualify, put a number in front of the landlord, book the property assessment where one is needed, and close instructions across the range. At Senior BDC you take the harder pipeline — portfolio landlords, switches from an incumbent agent, the deals that need pricing judgement — and set the standard on the floor for call quality.
The first call. Every new lead lands as a task with your name on it. You call it the day it lands, and you get to the landlord's real constraint — money, distance, hassle or an agent they've had enough of.
The routing decision. DIY, Placed, Managed or Secured — you decide which tier fits the property and the landlord, and you answer for the ones routed wrong.
The number. A figure is the hook; a brochure isn't. You give the landlord what they'd achieve and what they'd take home on each route, held against comparable evidence.
Your pipeline, in the CRM. Outcome logged, lead status set, next step dated — before you finish the call. A lead with no next step is a lead we've lost.
The two objections that lose deals. Price and trust. You answer both on the call: net income across the whole term versus a headline rent, and exactly what we're contractually on the hook for.
We sell the outcome, not the product. Rent that arrives, a tenancy that runs itself, compliance that never lands on the landlord — then route to the service that delivers it.
We're honest about the trade. Every tier asks something of the landlord and gives something back. Saying which is which wins more than overselling, and filters out the price-shoppers who are our biggest single loss reason.
Nothing gets promised that the valuation won't support. The number you quote becomes a commitment the company has to honour.
AI does the prep, you do the selling. Property and market research, call notes, follow-up drafts and pipeline hygiene are increasingly automated. We expect you to use that, not to type around it.
You never leave the desk. No appraisals, no viewings, no waiting for keys.
~2+ years in a target-driven, phone-led sales role (more for Senior), consistently at or above quota.
Lettings or BTR instruction-winning strongly preferred; estate agency or another consultative, high-volume sales background considered.
Grit. You make the last call of the day sound like the first, and a bad week makes you dial more, not less.
You can prospect and cold-call without warming up first, and you handle a "no" in one move.
You run your own pipeline properly — dated next steps, clean CRM, nothing dropped.
Current lettings market and the regulation around it, including what the Renters' Rights Act changed, or you can learn it inside a month.
Senior: a record of closing your own deals in a complex, priced product, and of lifting the people around you.
Lettings, BTR, block or guaranteed-rent instructions.
HubSpot, or another CRM you ran properly rather than tolerated.
Experience working a company-generated lead feed at volume.
You want to win. You count your own numbers, you know where you sit on the desk, and being behind bothers you until it isn't true any more.
You call. The best rep here isn't the most articulate one, it's the one who dials.
You'd rather lose fast than nurse a maybe.
You quote numbers you can stand behind — the valuation checks your work.
You own the number, not the activity.
You'll be a critical human in an AI-Native company optimised for efficiency. We believe homes will be run more efficiently and at a higher quality for customers with AI, and we're building the platform that will run all rental properties end-to-end, starting with London.
We've raised a $4m pre-seed from investors who've built the financial and operational infrastructure that moves billions and serves millions. They backed us because the home is the largest consumer asset where that infrastructure hasn't been built yet. You'll get competitive base pay, meaningful equity, and a small, high-agency team rebuilding an industry and growing at >100% month-over-month. We're hiring to facilitate this aggressive growth.
Bonus is uncapped. Hit target and you take home your OTE; beat it and there is no ceiling.
