Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for babies and young children, supporting their developmental needs in line with early childhood education principles. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise skills while making a positive impact on children’s early learning experiences.
Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Supervise and support children during play, mealtimes, and rest periods
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and daily activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of childcare and education are upheld
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s development and well-being
- Assist in organising nursery routines and managing daily operational tasks
Qualifications
- Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
- Paediatric first aid - preferred not essential
Days negotiable, weekdays only, hours are 7.30am-6pm.
