We are recruiting for Health Records Clerks to be based in our Health Records Clerk Department in Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest.
We have one full time contract (37.5 hours per week) available.
For this role, previous experience in a record-keeping role is not required, as on the job training will be provided. You will predominately begin your training in our Filing Library and then be exposed to other duties within the department.
The post holder will cover a range of duties including;
Filing and retrieving of patient records, locating, and providing patient records for all outpatient appointments, planned admissions and day case attendances.
Preparation of patient records for outpatient/inpatient attendances
Operation of a computerised patients administration system, including inputting and retrieval of data
Dealing with telephone queries
Scanning of patient records to support the Health Records Digitisation project
