- Licensed Van Driver
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Successful candidates may be required to carry out a variety of tasks, including:
- General property maintenance
- Void property works
- Cleaning and deep cleaning services
- Carpet cleaning and carpet washing
- Painting and decorating
- Gardening and grounds maintenance
- Basic electrical works (where suitably qualified)
- Air conditioning installation and maintenance (where suitably qualified)
- Property clearances and waste removal
- Minor repairs and refurbishment works
- Delivering materials, equipment, and supplies to work locations
- Driving company vans to and from work sites where required
- Completing job reports and work records
- Reporting incidents, defects, and health and safety concerns
- Working independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have the right to work in the United Kingdom
- Hold a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
- Be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Be professional, polite, punctual, and reliable
- Be flexible and willing to work across various locations within London
- Have good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Be capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Be physically fit and able to undertake manual work where required
- Be committed to maintaining high standards of customer service
Additional Requirements for Van Drivers
Applicants applying for Van Driver positions must:
- Hold a valid UK Driving Licence
- Have a good driving record
- Be confident driving throughout London
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure safe transportation of staff, materials, equipment, and goods
- Follow all road traffic laws and company driving procedures
Qualifications and Experience
We welcome applications from candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Relevant industry qualifications and certificates are desirable.
A valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card is preferred for Handymen/Women and Maintenance Operatives but is not essential.
Candidates who do not currently hold relevant qualifications but demonstrate a positive attitude, practical skills, and a willingness to learn may be considered, as training opportunities may be available.
Licence/Certification Preferred:
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Enhanced DBS Certificate
- CSCS Card (Preferred but not Essential)
- Relevant Trade Qualifications

Salary and Working Hours
- Pay rates range from £13.00 to £14.00 per hour, depending on the role, experience, qualifications, and responsibilities.
- Maximum working hours are 8 hours per day.
- Additional hours may be available subject to operational requirements and legal working time limits.
- Flexible working arrangements are available depending on the role.
