We are seeking a Chef to join the kitchen team for the opening of a new, independent food and drink‑led pub. The focus is on well‑executed British food, using fresh ingredients and a simple, thoughtful approach.
This role offers the opportunity to be involved from the outset, contributing to the launch of a new menu and helping establish standards and ways of working from day one.

Key responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking a fresh British menu, including traditional pub classics
- Supporting the setup and successful opening of a new kitchen
- Delivering consistent Sunday roasts as part of the core offering
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety
- Working confidently and collaboratively within a small kitchen team
About you
- Previous kitchen experience
- Comfortable working in small, close‑knit teams and working alone on quiet days
- Experience preparing Sunday roasts is required
- Experience working in a 5‑star food hygiene rated kitchen is advantageous
- A genuine interest in British cooking and good ingredients
- Reliable, organised, and keen to develop your skills

Pay: £14.50-£16.00 per hour
