About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chess Teacher to join our weekend program. The role involves coaching a group of motivated students who are preparing for upcoming chess competitions. The ideal candidate will not only have strong chess knowledge but also the ability to inspire, guide, and mentor young learners to reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Teach structured chess lessons every Sunday.
- Prepare students for competitive chess tournaments.
- Develop strategies and practice plans tailored to different levels.
- Provide constructive feedback and track students’ progress.
- Create an engaging, supportive, and disciplined classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Strong background in chess (tournament experience preferred).
- Previous teaching/coaching experience with children or young learners.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to motivate and prepare students for competition.
- Reliability and commitment to the Sunday schedule.
Pay: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
