Customer Service Advisor
Location: Calido Logs and Stoves, Stirling, FK7 7NP
Salary: £28,500 - £30,000 per annum
Hours: Full time (42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm)
Saturday 9am to 2pm every 3rd Saturday approximately paid as overtime.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Advisor to join our team. This role is based on-site at our Stirling office, and there are no remote or hybrid working options. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and office experience, with a particular focus on incoming sales calls and customer support. We are looking for someone with a “can-do” attitude and willing to get stuck in!
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering inbound sales and customer service calls, emails and live chats and dealing with enquiries efficiently.
- Adding and updating customer orders to the system to ensure smooth progression to our warehouse for dispatch.
- Taking orders for and invoicing our commercial customers.
- Liaising with our accounts team on invoicing, payments and any other financial queries.
- Dealing with customers visiting our showroom, advising on products and taking payments.
- Supporting colleagues in the preparation and emailing of quotations to customers and subsequent follow up.
- Support with general administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations.
Key Requirements:
- You must have an excellent telephone manner as you will be the first point of contact for new and returning customers.
- Ideally you will have worked in a similar role dealing with customers both face to face and over the phone.
- Experience in a customer service role with the ability to deal with awkward situations and resolving them without the need for escalation.
- Ability to manage a busy schedule, think on your feet and manage your own workload
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Full UK driving licence (essential due to the office location).
- Ability to commute to our Stirling office daily (no remote or hybrid working).
- Occasional weekend hours may be available for candidates interested in extra shifts.
