MacNeil Shellfish Ltd is one of Scotland’s leading live shellfish wholesalers, supplying the UK, Europe and worldwide. Established in 2012, we have built a strong reputation for sourcing shellfish ethically and sustainably, and our business continues to grow. We are based in Central Lanarkshire and are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our close-knit team in an Operations Support role.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role at the heart of our busy export and operations function. You will support the team in keeping international shipments moving smoothly — from documentation and logistics coordination to general administration and day-to-day problem-solving. Full training will be provided; what matters most is that you are diligent, accurate and enthusiastic about learning.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the processing and management of export documentation
- Helping to coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, hauliers and overseas contacts
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance requirements
- Providing reliable administrative support across the operations and export team
- Acting as a point of contact for queries, both internal and external
- Contributing across the wider team as operational needs arise
