Job Summary:
A pivotal role within the J. Parker’s group, our Hospitality Supervisor will be responsible for leading the daily operations of our busy café and farm shop. You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth service, maintaining high standards, and creating a welcoming environment for our customers.
Key responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café and farm shop, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company standards and health and hygiene rules.
- Ensure the cafe are clean, well-maintained, organised, and the farm shop is visually appealing to customers.
- Ensure food and drink are served to a high standard and in line with hygiene regulations.
- Manage stock levels, place orders, and reduce waste.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure all customers receive friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful service.
- Address and resolve any customer enquiries or complaints in a professional manner.
- Promote a customer-focused environment, with staff engaged in understanding customer needs and offering appropriate solutions.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, coach and support your team in the completion of their duties
- Oversee the recruitment and training of new colleagues, ensuring they are knowledgeable and deliver excellent customer service.
- Create work schedules, assign daily tasks, and monitor staff performance.
- Lead team meetings and communicate operational updates and objectives.
- Complete team appraisals.
Supplier & Stock Management:
- Manage supplier relationships and stock levels to maintain efficiency and reduce waste.
- Assist in ordering stock and booking stock in on receipt.

- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and peak trading periods.
Pay: £13.50 per hour
