Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated M&E Facilities Engineerto join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service within luxury residential environments.
The Role
Working across a portfolio of prestigious residential developments, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a wide range of mechanical and electrical building services.
You will work closely with property managers, managing agents, concierge teams and residents, ensuring our clients' properties remain safe, compliant and maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in accordance with maintenance schedules.
- Attend reactive maintenance call-outs and diagnose faults efficiently.
- Service, maintain and repair HVAC systems, commercial and domestic gas appliances, boilers, pumps, pressurisation units, domestic water services and associated M&E plant.
- Carry out electrical maintenance, testing and fault finding where qualified.
- Inspect plant rooms and ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Complete maintenance reports, service records and statutory compliance documentation accurately.
- Liaise professionally with residents, property managers, managing agents and contractors.
- Ensure all works are completed in accordance with current Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota where required.
- Maintain the exceptionally high standards expected within luxury residential developments.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for engineers who hold some or all of the following qualifications:
- Commercial Gas Qualifications (CODNCO1, COCN1 or equivalent)
- Domestic Gas Qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 or equivalent)
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in HVAC, Heating & Ventilation or Mechanical Engineering
- F-Gas Category 1 Certification
- Recognised Electrical Qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations or equivalent)
- Proven experience within Facilities Management or Building Services.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Engineers with a strong mechanical bias who also possess electrical qualifications are particularly encouraged to apply.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience working within luxury residential or high-end residential developments.
- Building Management Systems (BMS) experience.
- CAFM system experience.
- G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification.
- IPAF and PASMA certification.
- IOSH Working Safely or equivalent.
