We are seeking a reliable and professional Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver pharmacy orders to customers' premises across designated routes.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule, maintaining high standards of professionalism.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Complete all required documentation accurately, including delivery logs and route sheets.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety during transit.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents promptly to management.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a delivery driver is preferred; experience with pharmacy or healthcare deliveries is advantageous.
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving or warehouse environments is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling medication boxes or supplies.
- Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members.
- Good organisational skills to manage routes efficiently and ensure timely deliveries.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical fitness to handle the demands of loading, unloading, and prolonged periods of driving.
