Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Forecourt Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our petrol station forecourt. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the area is tidy, well-presented, and compliant with health and safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy working outdoors. Prior experience in janitorial tasks or customer service is advantageous, along with a valid driving licence. The position involves working during daytime hours, with paid employment included.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, and clean forecourt surfaces to ensure a pristine appearance
- Collect rubbish and empty bins regularly to maintain cleanliness standards
- Clean fuel pumps, signage, and surrounding areas to prevent dirt build-up
- Assist customers as needed, providing friendly and professional service
- Monitor the forecourt for hazards or spillages and report issues promptly
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Experience
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Customer service experience is desirable to assist customers courteously
- Valid driving licence is advantageous for operational duties involving vehicle movement or assistance
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
Pay: £12.71-£12.95 per hour
