About the Role
Due to continued growth, Ingleby Homes is seeking an experienced and motivated Lettings Negotiator / Property Consultant to join our busy and successful team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, customer-focused individual with previous lettings experience to play a key role in delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants whilst helping grow our lettings portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Registering and qualifying prospective tenants.
- Arranging and conducting property viewings.
- Negotiating tenancy agreements and securing lets.
- Managing landlord and tenant enquiries.
- Carrying out property inspections when required.
- Progressing applications and referencing.
- Preparing tenancy documentation and ensuring compliance.
- Marketing available properties across online portals and social media.
- Building strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
- Assisting with general office administration and telephone enquiries.
- Supporting the wider sales and lettings team when required.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within residential lettings.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Well organised with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Good IT skills and experience using property software.
Desirable
- Knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience carrying out inspections and property management duties.
- ARLA qualification (or willingness to work towards).
