Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and promote responsible alcohol consumption.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the POS system.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure the bar is fully equipped at all times.
- Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, enhancing their overall experience.
- Follow all food safety regulations and health & safety procedures diligently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or bar work is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to serve customers courteously and efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
