Studio 3 Recruitment is looking for experienced and reliable Agency Chefs to join our growing team. We supply chefs to a wide range of clients across Scotland, including luxury hotels, golf resorts, restaurants, event venues, contract caterers, care homes, and private functions.
Whether you're looking for occasional shifts or full-time agency work, we have opportunities to suit your availability, with both live-in and local positions available.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a variety of kitchen environments.
- Working independently or as part of an established kitchen team.
- Supporting Head Chefs and Kitchen Managers to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Following all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures.
- Assisting with stock rotation, deliveries, and waste control.
- Adapting quickly to different kitchens, menus, and working environments.
- Preparing meals for restaurants, hotels, golf clubs, events, and care homes, ensuring dietary and nutritional requirements are met where required.
- Keeping work areas clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, Head Chef, Breakfast Chef, Production Chef or similar.
- A positive attitude and the ability to hit the ground running.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
- Experience working in busy hospitality environments.
- Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable.
- Driving licence and own transport are advantageous but not essential.
