We are looking to recruit a night senior care assistant to join our friendly team. This role will be contracted to 36 hours per week. Candidates must have previous experience with the role.
Duties
- Deliver high-quality personal care to residents, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Supervise and support care team, ensuring adherence to care plans and company policies
- Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing individualised care plans tailored to each resident’s needs
- Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident progress using IT systems
- Foster a warm, respectful environment through effective communication with residents, families, and team members
- Support residents with social activities and encourage their participation to promote mental and emotional wellbeing
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times, including infection control procedures
- Administer and follow medication policies and procedures to the residents.
Qualifications
- Only candidates applying that have previous experience supervising or leading a team within a care home or senior care setting will be considered.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
