Auction Vault Ltd is a specialist auction and e-commerce business based in Morley, Leeds. We help customers sell jewellery, watches, antiques, collectables and luxury goods through professionally researched marketplace listings and specialist sales channels.
As our Marketplace Listings & Cataloguing Executive, you'll research, identify and catalogue incoming items, create professional marketplace listings, research comparable sold listings and market trends, take high-quality product photographs and upload listings to leading online marketplaces. You'll also help determine the most appropriate sales strategy for each item, whether that's an individual listing or a carefully curated job lot.
You'll work with an exciting range of products including luxury watches, jewellery, antiques, collectables, designer goods, cameras, coins, toys, memorabilia and other unique items.
You'll be responsible for researching, identifying and cataloguing items, creating professional marketplace listings, researching comparable sold listings and market trends, taking high-quality product photographs, uploading listings to leading online marketplaces, and helping determine the most effective sales strategy for each item.
We're looking for someone who is highly organised, has excellent attention to detail, enjoys researching products and takes pride in producing accurate, professional listings.
Previous experience creating listings for online marketplaces is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify incoming products.
- Create accurate, engaging and SEO-optimised listings for a leading online marketplaces.
- Upload listings with accurate titles, descriptions, item specifics and pricing.
- Organise and maintain listing workflows to ensure products are listed efficiently and accurately.
- Identify brands, model numbers, hallmarks, signatures and other key selling features.
- Research comparable sold listings, market trends and competitor listings to help determine appropriate listing prices.
- Recommend the most effective sales strategy for each item, including individual listings, job lots or specialist auctions.
- Take high-quality product photographs and ensure images meet marketplace standards.
- Maintain accurate catalogue, stock and inventory records.
- Ensure products are correctly labelled, stored and tracked throughout the sales process.
- Carry out quality checks before listings go live to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with the team to prepare items for sale and dispatch.
- Handle valuable items with care, professionalism and attention to detail.
- Contribute ideas to improve listing quality, workflow efficiency and sales performance.
