We are looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Breakfast Team Member to join our team, serving our weekday breakfast guests.
This is a morning role Monday-Friday and would suit someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in providing excellent service, and can create a warm and welcoming start to our guests' day.
You will be responsible for delivering attentive table service, taking breakfast orders, serving food and drinks, keeping the breakfast area clean and well presented, and ensuring our guests have an enjoyable experience from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome breakfast guests, including hotel guests and walk-in customers, in a friendly and professional manner.
- Set up and prepare the breakfast area before service.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve breakfast and drinks to guests with a high standard of presentation.
- Check that guests are happy with their meals and respond promptly to any requests.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently throughout service.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the restaurant and service areas.
- Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure breakfast service runs smoothly.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent Tyacks Hotel in a positive and professional manner.
About You

- Previous hospitality, restaurant or waiting experience is desirable but full training will be provided for the right person. We encourage all to apply, regardless of their prior experience level.
- You must be at least 16 years old.

Hours
The role involves weekday breakfast shifts, with early morning starts. The successful candidate must be comfortable working morning shifts and be able to arrive punctually for the start of breakfast preparation. Monday-Friday from approximately 6:45AM-10:00AM. As a member of the Tyacks Hotel team, there may be the opportunity for additional shifts during weekends or evenings. Working hours are negotiable at the interview stage. Pay is the minimum within age brackets with the addition of regular tips.
